Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete the data MetaGraphy (operated by Hokosha Inc.) holds about you — from removing a single connected social account (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X …) to deleting your whole account. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes what we store and why.

1. Remove a connected social account (deletes its tokens)

If you only want MetaGraphy to stop having access to one of your social accounts, disconnect it in the app. This is immediate and you can do it yourself:

  1. Sign in at app.metagraphy.ai.
  2. Open Social in the sidebar.
  3. Under Connected accounts, find the account or channel and click Disconnect, then confirm.

Disconnecting does the following at once:

  • the authentication tokens for that account are deleted from our systems;
  • the stored profile of that account (ID, name, picture) is deleted;
  • any posts still queued or scheduled for that account are cancelled and will not be published.

Posts already published stay on the platform (you can delete them there). Entries in your MetaGraphy publishing history (title, link, status) remain until you delete them or your account.

You can additionally revoke MetaGraphy's access on the platform side: Google — myaccount.google.com/permissions; Instagram — Settings → Security → Apps and websites; Facebook — Settings → Business integrations; TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions; X — Settings → Apps and sessions. Revoking there makes our stored tokens unusable; disconnect in the app (or email us, see below) to have them deleted from our systems as well.

2. If you removed MetaGraphy from your Facebook or Instagram settings

Meta lets you remove an app from your account without visiting the app. If you removed Metagraphy that way and want the data we hold for that connection deleted, either sign in and Disconnect the account as in step 1, or email hokosha.inc@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and the username / handle of the Instagram or Facebook account you disconnected. We will delete the connection data and confirm by email.

3. Delete your entire MetaGraphy account

There is currently no self-service "delete account" button in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us from the email address registered on your account:

To: hokosha.inc@gmail.com · Subject: Account deletion request · Body: the email address (or Google account) you sign in with, and — if you use Sign in with Google — a note saying so.

We may reply to verify that the request really comes from the account holder. Once verified we will:

  • disconnect every connected social account (deleting all tokens and profiles) and cancel any queued posts;
  • delete your projects, blocks, generated files, uploads, compositions and publishing history from our storage;
  • delete your account record, sign-in identity and usage records;
  • cancel any active membership at Stripe. Invoices and payment records that we must keep under tax and accounting law are retained for the legally required period, then deleted.

4. Timeline

  • Disconnecting a social account in the app: immediate.
  • Emailed deletion requests: processed after we verify your identity — normally completed within 30 days. We will confirm by email when it is done.
  • Backups: residual copies in backups are removed in our normal backup rotation.
  • Temporary media copies used for publishing are in any case deleted about 7 days after the post is published.
